Begraven in de kerk van Poortugaal onder een zerk met wapen met het volgende opschrift:"Hier leyt begraven Geertke Ariens de huisvrou van
Aert Henricks sij sterf den XXV december Ao 1598" twee wapens verbonden door een liefdeskoord, 1e een dubbele adelaar, 2e in ruit een omgewende klimmende vos. Het wapen met de dubbele adelaar is dat van het geslacht van Driel. Het wapen met de vos is van het geslacht
van Doen Beijens.
