Ik heb in Friesland geen plaats of buurtschap kunnen vinden met de naam De Halle. De plaats Hallum in Noord-Friesland is zeer onwaarschijnlijk. Een mogelijkheid zou kunnen zijn: De Hel, een buurtschap in Zuid-West Friesland, maar dat ligt niet in de omgeving van Sint Johannesga.
