Notes about Rikje Kortus

Beste Henk,

Allereerst bedankt voor het toezenden van de gegevens. Ik heb echter nog een paar opmerkingen cq vragen: waarom schrijf je steeds Cortus terwijl in de originele stukken duidelijk Kortus en ook Kortes wordt vermeld. Dit werkt naar mijn mening verwarrend en is in mijn opvatting geen juiste vermelding van de gegevens.

Bij het 6e kind, Rikje Hendriksen Cortus vermeld je als overlijdensdatum 6 november 1841 in Amersfoort. Ik kan dit op internet echter niet controleren daar deze gegevens daar nog niet vermeld zijn. Ik ben echter van mening dat die datum niet juist is. Daar ik Rikje reeds in mijn bestand had en dat de aanleiding van mijn vragen was had ik daarin een andere overlijdensdatum en plaats. Volgens mijn gegevens is zij namelijk overleden op 10 augustus 1861 te Lunteren. Deze gegevens zijn vermeld in Genlias. Het betreft overlijdensakte gemeente Ede, akte nr. 136, aktedatum 12-08-1861. Bovendien betwijfel ik dat ze gelijktijdig met haar echtgenoot is overleden. Ook ben ik van mening dat diens overlijdensplaats zoals jij vermeld niet juist is maar Voorthuizen moet zijn. Zie hierbij zijn overlijdensakte in Genlias onder gemeente Barneveld akte nr. 100, aktedatum 20-11-1841. Tenslotte vraag ik mij af of het juist is dat Gerrit Teunissen van Kommer wel op zijn trouwdatum is overleden of dat hier dezelfde fout een rol speelt als bij de overlijdensdatum van Rikje.
