gehuwd voor de kerk op 24-jarige leeftijd op 4 februari 1671 te Nuth met Jacobus Meijs, 27 jaar oud, schepen, gedoopt op 28 juni 1643 te Nuth, overleden op 29 november 1713 te Grijzegrubben-Nuth op 70-jarige leeftijd, zoon van Paulus Meijs
en Cornelia Jacobs.
RAL-LvO 1756, 119v: Op 10 maart 1697 verkocht Joannes Rutten, gehuwd met Judith Canisius, aan schepen Jacob Meijs 201 kleine roeden akkerland achter Grijzegrubben, afgetrokken een roede vijf voet voor het voetpad, grenzend aan Jan
Cremers, Willem Bruls, Willem Canisius, Jan Ramaekers en Jan Limpens.Iedere kleine roede kostte 18 stuivers.
RAL-LvO 1756, 104v: Op 14 januari 1700 verklaarde Leonaert Limpens dat hij op 4 december 1698 aan schepen Jacob Meijs 122 1/2 kleine roeden land in de Eertgrubbe, grenzend aan Willem Bruls, Jacob Hautvast en Claes Coenen, verkocht had.
Iedere kleine roede kostte 25 stuivers. Jacob Meijs droeg dit land bij surrogatie over aan Jan Curfs, gehuwd met Catharina Bruls.
RAL-LvO 1756, 125v-126v: Op 27 januari 1701 kocht schepen Jacob Meijs van Gerard Hennen voor 500 gulden een beemd, groot ca. drie morgen en gelegen tegen het varkenbroek (onder Geleen?), grenzend aan Jan Nijpels en Stas Custers, en een
halve bunder land, gelegen aan de Wijenweg onder Nuth, grenzend aan de vloedgraaf en de erfgenamen Vaes Limpens,
