      Otto V van Brandenburg, bijg. de Lange (rond 1246 - 1298) was een zoon van markgraaf Otto III van Brandenburg en Beatrix van Bohemen. Otto V volgde in 1267 zijn vader op, en werd markgraaf samen met zijn neven Otto IV en Johan III van Brandenburg en met Hendrik I. Hij was van 1278 tot 1283 regent voor Wenceslaus II van Bohemen en stond daardoor tegen Habsburg. Met Pommeren, Polen en Mecklenburg was hij voortdurend in strijd over allerlei territoriale conflicten. Hij lijfde onder meer Schivenbein, Perleberg, Wesenberg, Parchim en Penzlin in bij Brandenburg.

      Otto huwde in 1268 met Judith of Jutta van Henneberg (ca. 1252-1312), dochter van graaf Hermann I von Henneberg-Coburg en Margaretha van Holland, en werd vader van:
      - Otto (-1295)
      - Albrecht (-1295)
      - Herman III van Brandenburg (rond 1273 -1308)
      - Beatrix (-1316), in 1281 gehuwd met hertog Bolko I van Schweidnitz-Jauer (-1301), en in 1308 met hertog Wladislaus van Bytom
      - Mechtilde (-1298), in 1287 gehuwd met groothertog Hendrik IV van Polen (-1290)
      - Judith (-1328), in 1300 gehuwd met keurvorst Rudolf I van Saksen (-1356).
