      Boleslaw III van Liegnitz, bijgenaamd de Verkwister (23 september 1291 - 21 april 1352) was een zoon van Hendrik V de Dikke en Elisabeth van Polen. Na de dood van zijn vader in 1305, werd hij hertog van Breslau, Liegnitz en Brieg, samen met zijn broers. Vanaf 1311, was hij hertog van Brieg en van 1312 tot 1342 regeerde hij over Liegnitz. In 1329 werd hij vazal van Bohemen.

      Boleslaw was gehuwd met:
      - Margaretha (1286-1322) , dochter van Wenceslaus II van Bohemen,
      - Catharina (-1358), dochter van Mladen II Šubic.

      Uit zijn eerste huwelijk had hij volgende kinderen:
      - Wenceslaus (-1364), gehuwd met Anna, dochter van Casimir I van Teschen,
      - Lodewijk (-1398)
      - Nicolaas.
