      Albrecht IV van Habsburg, bijg. De Wijze, ( ? 1188; Ashkelon, 13 december 1239) was een zoon van graaf Rudolf II van Habsburg en Agnes van Staufen. Na de dood van zijn vader deelde hij de erfenis met zijn broer Rudolf. Albrecht IV werd stamvader van de oude lijn en Rudolf III van de Habsburg-Laufenburgse lijn. Door onderlinge haat en concurrentie kwam het tot een tweedeling. Albrecht werd graaf in Aargau, landgraaf in Boven-Elzas en commandant van Straatsburg. Albrecht behield het kasteel van Habsburg en voerde een verbeten strijd met zijn broer. Hij bleef steeds trouw aan de keizer. Albrecht stierf op kruistocht bij Ashkelon in Palestina.

      Hij huwde in 1217 met Heilwig van Kyburg, dochter van Ulrich III van Kyburg, (1192-1260).
