    Himiltrude (?-780) was een jeugdliefde en vanaf 767 de eerste echtgenote van Karel de Grote. Haar afkomst is onduidelijk, maar zij was van Frankische afkomst. Rond 769 al werd zij verstoten ten voordele van Desiderata van Lombardije. Himiltrude overleed in een klooster. Hun huwelijk werd nadien in twijfel getrokken en haar kinderen aangemerkt als bastaarden.

    Zij was de moeder van:
    - Pepijn met de Bult (770-811)
    - Amaudru.
