    Abigael Nathan (ook wel aangeduid als Abigal/Abigel/Abigaël Natan(s)/Nathans) werd circa 1742 gebooren in Bonn (duitsland). Het is niet bekend wie haar ouders waren, noch of zij broers of zusters bezat. Zij overleed op 20 mei 1835 in Wijk bij Duurstede. Abigael was eerst gehuwd met de Haagse Jacob Tobias (Tobicx) en hertrouwde in 1779 met de uit Münsterland afkomstige Joseph Marcus. Uit beide huwelijken zijn tenminste drie dochters bekend: Judith Jacobs Tobicx, Hendrijn Marcus en Leentje Joseph Marcus.
