Opgenomen in de burgerstand van Namen (B) op 04-07-1731 door het schuitvoerdersgenootschap. Toen hij zich vestigde in Hannut (B) werd hij geschrapt als vreemdeling. Hij werd belast met het ambt van schepen en vervolgens met het ambt van burgemeester. Ook werd hij benoemd tot ontvanger van de in- en uitvoerrechten van Hare Majesteit (Maria Theresia van Oostenrijk 1740-1780). In 1760 vestigde hij zich in Ways (B), nabij Gennappe (B) in Brabant.
