14b. (Hendrik-) Hugo IX (VII) van Dagsburg. Graaf van Dagsburg, vermeld 1103, 1130/37. Als zoon van Ermesinde maakte Hugo tevergeefs erfaanspraak op Luxemburg. Nadat de meningen over de moeder van Hugo IX/VII van Dagsburg lange tijd verdeeld waren, brengt Erich Brandenburg in "Die Nachkommen Karls des Großen" (pag. 142) de bewijsvoering voor de hier genoemde filiatie. Hugo IX/VII's zoon Hugo X/VIII noemt in een oorkonde van 1146 (zie Tihon, "Les comtes de Moha", Instit. archeol. liegeois 23, blz. 440) Ermensinde zijn grootmoeder ("Hugo, Dei gratia comes Musacensis, recognicit quod ava sua piae memoriae Hermesendis comitissa") en Hugo IX/VII maakte erfaanspraak op Luxemburg, die hij slechts als zoon van Emesinde kon laten gelden. Hij trouwde met Gertrud (van Looz), vermeld rond 1153.
