Bij de doop van Margien 1654 staat als vader Jan Kiers. Dit is vermoedelijk een foutje. Zij vader heette wel Jan Kiers. Ook is ze evenals de andere kinderen te Wendele geboren (in de officiële transcriptie staat Vollenhove, maar bij nalezingstaat er duidelijk Wendele.
