Johan had een grote erfenis te verdelen: er waren 8 porsjes van elk groot iets meer dan f 7200,-- elk. Eind 1717 is er een grote akte opgemaakt waarin alle kinderen hun deel krijgen toegewezen (RANB 216, f. 88/91v). Kennelijk heeft Johan goed verdiend aan de steenbakkerij en de bierbrouwerij die hij in bezit had.
ORA Ambt Neder-Betuwe, bank van Kesteren, vrijwillige rechtspraak, acten van bezwaar kerspel Rijswijk (1660-1739), inv. 219:
f. 115: De diacenen hebben vercost en getransporteert aan Jan Dircks van Brummelen 4 hont bouwland, genaamd "de harde Eijnder" onder Rijswijk voor 108 gld.
