    Beliijdenis Scherpenisse 24-12-1677.
    Ingekomen St. Maartensdijk 23-4-1688 met attestatie van Scherpenisse, Johannes en zijn eerste vrouw Jannetje. Vermoedelijk waren zij daarvoor nog steeds lidmaat in Scherpenisse, maar woonde zij te St. Mrt. waar vanaf 1683 de kinderen gedoopt werden.
    In het register van schepenakten van Stavenisse komt Johannes enkele malen voor.
    Op 11-6-1700 koopt hij de helft van een welgelegen hofstede met 65 gemeten en 136 roeden wn koren - en weiland te Sint Maartensdijk voor f 60,- per gemet (zijn aandeel is dus 32 gemet en 218 roeden). Het daarop staande huis, schuur en bakkeet is eigendom va de pachter Pieter van Oost, doch bij het einde van de pacht zal de eigenaar het huis moeten overnemen voor maximaal f 800,-.
    Uit de rekeningen van de rentmeester van de Domeinen van St. Maartensdijk Scherpenisse blijkt dat Johannes vrij veel pachtland gebruikt heeft in de jaren 1714-1720, bijv. ruim 48 gemeten/
    Johannes was ouderling te St. Mrt/ 26-4-1704 tot 1707 en van 1715 tot 1718.
    Uit alles kunnen we opmaken dat hij een redelijk bemiddeld man was/
    De kinderen van hem zijn de naam "van Kaashoek" gaan gebruiken, en later "van" weggelaten. Hijzelf heeft deze naam nooit gebruikt. Hun oom Adriaen Anthonisse heeft in overeenstemming met zijn (neven) beroep de naam LANDMETER aangenomen. Abel Anthonisse blijft het zonder achternaam volhouden.
