In de kwartierstaat Van Schie-Burger is hier genoemd Arend Cornelis de Zeeuw van Vlaardinger-Ambacht (Ons Voorgeslacht 168 p. 172), Heemskerk en Kuypers tonen aan dat dit onjuist is aan de hand van een testament van 10 april 1653 te Moordrecht [OudNA Moordrecht nr 6105]:

"Op voornoemde datum compareerde Maritje Adriaens, weduwe van zaliger Adriaen Adriaenss Zeeuw, won. Nieuwerkerck op d' IJssel. Zij prelegateert aan haar zoon Adriaen Adriaenss Jonge Zeeuw een stuk land in Blaerdorppolder binnen Nieuwerkerck, onder voorwaarde, dat hij na het overlijden van zijn moeder aan zijn broers en zusters, met name Adriaen Adriaens Zeeuw, de kinderen van zaliger Annitje Adriaensdr., de kinderen van zaliger Neeltge Adriaensdr., Adriaentje Adriaens en Arent Blasius, getrouwd zijnde met Lijsbeth Adriaensdr., ieder & 1766:13:6 zal uitkeren. Erfgenamen in haar verdere goederen zijn haar voorn. kinderen en kindskinderen.
