    In 2015 waren de grafrechten van het graf van Albert Groenewoud (geen officieel oorlogsgraf) verlopen en dreigde het graf geruimd te worden. Op last van oorlogsgravenstichting zijn de stoffelijke resten van Albert Groenwoud vervolgens opgegraven en overgebracht naar het ereveld te Loenen alwaar hij op 28 juni 2016 met militaire eer is herbegraven in grafnummer 1419.
