Met assistentie van haar moeder, trouwde Jannitje van Pipping civiel met Meerten van Crassenburgh, die door zijn moeder werd geassisteerd. Hun kerkelijk huwelijk was op 6 mei 1724 in de RK Kromme Elleboog. Hun kinderen Roelant (1725), Roelof (1726), Tele (1728), Tilmannus (1730) en Jacobus (1733) lieten ze in de OC-parochie ’t Zand dopen.
In 1738 overleed Martinus Telen, hetgeen in het overlijdensregister van de OC-parochie ’t Zand werd genoteerd. Jannitje, de weduwe van Marten van Crassenburgh, die inwoonde bij de weduwe van Dirk van de Bank in de St. Aagtestraat van wijk Bloemendal, betaalde in 1747 voor haar en haar kinderen de Liberale Gift. (Stadsbesuur, inv.nr. 2282)
