In 1742 beviel de ongehuwde Jannetje van Pipping van een dochter, Jacoba genaamd, die ze in Amersfoort op 15 januari NG liet dopen. Twee jaar later trouwde ze met Evert Meiland, die soldaat was in het Regiment van generaal-majoor de Bedarides, dat in garnizoen te Amersfoort lag. Evert Meijland, die bij ’t Spoei in wijk Breul woonde, betaalde in 1747 voor zichzelf en zijn vrouw in Amersfoort de Liberale Gift. (Stadsbesuur, inv.nr. 2283)
