Berend Bel, timmerman, * 24-09-1872 te Ambt-Doetinchem.
Hij huwde, 24 jaar oud, op 02-04-1897 te Ambt-Doetinchem met Antonia (Antje) Dierssen, 26 jaar, * 19-02-1871 te Zelhem.
Ze gingen wonen in Zelhem en daarna in het Langerak B 29, Ambt-Doetinchem. De eerste twee kinderen, Corrie en Mies werden in Zelhem geboren, het derde, Bernard, in het Langerak. De kinderen, Sien, Evert en Anneke in Doetinchem-Stad.
De jongste broer van Berend, Lodewijk Bel, * 1883 , woonde, 17 jaar oud, komende uit Wisch, van 09-01-1901 tot 10-05-1901 in bij dit gezin in het Langerak.
Op 10-05-1901 vertrokken Berend en Antje met de kinderen naar Doetinchem-Stad, No. B 273. Lodewijk ging toen naar IJzevoorde C 119.

Berend, overleed 63 jaar oud op 21-11-1935 te Doetinchem.

Antje had daarna bijna wekelijks contact met haar jongere zuster Mina (mijn oma, H.B.B). Hierdoor noemde ik haar "tante Antje".

Antje overleed, 86 jaar oud te Doetinchem, op 12-09-1957.

DE KINDEREN VAN BEREND EN ANTJE.

1. Cornelia (Corrie), * 10-01-1898, overleden te Doetinchem op 25-01-1985.
Zij was ruim 13 jaar oud vanaf 21-10-1911 tot 17-07-1912, woonachtig in Gaanderen, bij haar oom Gerrit Bel, * 1875 en tante Hendrika, * 1875.
Daarna woonde zij weer thuis in Doetinchem-Stad, op B 273.
Zij huwde 25 jaar oud op 27-08-1923 te Doetinchem (Akte 63), met Derk Jan Velthorst (Jan), * 07-08-1895 te Ambt-Doetinchem (IJzevoorde), overleden op 19-03-1967 te Doetinchem. Ze kregen 2 kinderen.

--1 - Miena (Mies) Veldhorst, * 15-11-1924 te Doetinchem, overleden op 12-01-2012 te Doetinchem.
Zij huwde met Hermanus Hendrikus Johannes Tromp, * 11-02-1926 te Utrecht, overleden op ??-06-1993 in Arnhem.
Ze hadden geen kinderen.

--2 - Antonia (Annie) Veldhorst, * 15-10-1925 te Doetinchem, 2012 nog in leven was gehuwd met Martinus Gerhard Gerritsen, * 05-06-1923 te Doetinchem, overleden op 29-04-1965 in Doetinchem. Zij hadden 1 zoon Robert Martinus.

2. Willemina Grada (Mies), * 16-01-1899.
Zij kwam 16 jaar oud, op 28-08-1915 vanuit Nijmegen bij haar oom Evert Jan Dierssen en tante Mina te IJzevoorde C 36/60 wonen en werken.
Vanaf 13-11-1918 was zij dienstbode in de Gem. Rheden, bij de familie Herfstink uit Wisch.
Zij huwde met Hendrik Jan Stavast uit Dieren, Gem. Rheden, en kregen slechts één zoon.

--1 - Antoni (Tonnie) Stavast, * 16-01-1933 te Rheden (Dieren), op 07-09-1962 gehuwd met Gezina Geertina (Sienie) Ziengs, * 26-01-1938 te Odoorn (Dr), d.v. Geert Ziengs en Hillechien Alings, ze woonden in Dieren waar Tonnie overleed op 23-03-2006 Gem. Rheden, gecremeerd op 26-03-2006 in Dieren.

3. Bernard, * 27-06-1900, steenhouwer / bouwvakker.
Bernard was evenals zijn zuster Mies enige tijd van 09-03-1915 tot 22-09-1915, woonachtig bij oom Evert Jan Dierssen en tante Mina.
Hij huwde op 13-11-1925 te Doetinchem met Anna Antonia Jolink (Anna), * 26-10-1902.

4. Geziena Hendrika (Sien), * 10-07-1902, overleden 21-03-1945 (Akte,262)
Zij was dienstbode bij de fam. Bennink-Keyzer in het Langerak, L 74 van 16-02-1916 tot 01-02-1917. Op 13-05-1919 had ze dat beroep in Brummen en daarna van 02-05-1922 tot 24-01-1923 bij haar oom Jan Willem Dierssen in het sportcafé "Halfweg" te Zelhem.
Zij huwde 23 jaar oud op 14-05-1926 te Doetinchem (Akte 28), met Catharinus Dirksen (Jan), hotelbediende, uit de Betuwe en woonden te Doetinchem.

Ze kregen 6 kinderen.

Anna, - Piet, - Rinie, - Corrie, - Wim, - Hansje.

Sien en haar jongste zoon Johannes Marinus (Hansje), * 20-11-1944 verloren bij en na het bombardement op Doetinchem op 21 maart 1945 om 17.00 uur, het leven.

5. Evert, * 01-10-1905.
Hij huwde op 02-10-1931 te Doetinchem (Akte 83), met Reindina Margaretha Booiman (Dinie), * 15-05-1905 te Doetinchem.

6. Antonia (Anneke), * 23-09-1908, overleden op 08-09-1975.
Zij huwde 28 jaar oud op 10-07-1936 te Doetinchem (Akte 65), met Willem (Wim) Mijnen, * 30-07-1909, OV/BG 23/28-08-1984. (Grafzerk Loolaan BH 41)
Ze woonden te Doetinchem en kregen één zoon Gerrit Jan (Jan), * 26-10-1944.
