Het gezin van: EVERT BEL en HENTJE GERRITSEN.

Evert begon zijn loopbaan als timmerman, o.a. de bouw van de werkplaats van zijn broer Carel te Boekelo, kwam onder zijn handen gereed.

Na hun huwelijk op 01-09-1938 gingen Evert, 33 jaar en Hentje, 30 jaar oud, wonen aan de Varsseveldseweg te Doetinchem, schuin tegenover de ouders Herman en Mina Bel.
Hier werden de 3 kinderen geboren.
Daarna betrokken ze een eigen woning aan de Holterweg 83 te Doetinchem. De jongens Martin en Harrie groeiden hier op. Dochter Greetje heeft slechts 11 maanden geleefd.

Evert zei het timmervak vaarwel en vond werk als ambtenaar bij de P.T.T. afd. telefoon, als Magazijnmeester.

DE KINDEREN VAN EVERT EN HENTJE.

1. Martinus (Martin), * 04-03-1940; Studeerde voor Elektro Techn. Opzichter P.B.N.A.
Hij huwde 28 jaar oud, op 17-05-1968, met Erika Zirkel, * 08-08-1943, 24 jaar,
Zij kwamen te wonen te Wierden aan de Leliestr. 15.
Martin werkte bij Philips in Almelo.

2. Herman Evert (Harrie), * 25-11-1945.
Werd timmerman / uitvoerder en huwde, 23 jaar oud, op 24-07-1069 te Doetinchem met Anna Bernarda Gezina (Ans), Bel, 23 jaar, * 02-05-1946.
Ze gingen wonen naast de ouders van Harrie aan de Holterweg.
De grootouders van Harrie, evenals van Ans (Vaders kant, vier mensen), waren twee broers en twee zusters.
Van Harrie waren dit Herman Bel, * 1874 en Mina Dierssen, * 1878.
Van Ans waren dit Berend Bel, * 1872 en Antje Diersen, * 1871.

3. Hendrika Wilhelmina Grada (Greetje), * 13-12-1946, heeft slechts 11 maanden geleefd.
Zij overleed op 22-11-1947 in een ziekenhuis te Wassenaar.

4. Op 10-05-1949 werd hier een levenloos kind geboren.

Hentje overleed als eerste, 73 jaar oud op 15-01-1982 te Doetinchem.
Evert werd 82 jaar oud en overleed op 18-08-1987 ook te Doetinchem.
Beiden zijn begraven in de Slangenborg te Doetinchem.
