ဘJoမ. Was al vroeg zo doof als een kwartel. Volgens dochter Nel (Petronella) ဘeen schatမ Raakte gaandeweg geïnteresseerd in de ideeën van Krishnamurti en Blavatsky. Haar broer, de architect Jan Hendrik, ontwerpt in 1916 het huis voor haar gezin aan de Minister Hartsenlaan 10.

Kwam volgens de verhalen uit een streng, deftig gezin, waar bijvoorbeeld de kinderen staand aan tafel moesten eten. Haar moeder overleed al vroeg en haar stiefmoeder - tevens tante - leefde evenmin lang. Vader hertrouwde volgens Nel een derde maal met een loeder van een mens, die in het grote huis aan de Ministerlaan een eigen zijkamer zou hebben gehad (linksboven).

Pikant: Alida Jozina is een nicht in de derde graad van haar echtgenoot Jan Herman! Wisten zij dat wel van elkaar?
