Anna DeVries died Monday evening at 7 o'clock at his home, four miles west of Pella, at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 14 days. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1.30 pm at the home. Reverend Albert Vander Ploeg officiating with the interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Mr De Vries was born in Holland and came to the Americas at the age of 8 years old and settling in this community residing here all his life. He was the last of his family. Surviving him are four sons Andrew, Edward, Gerrit and Jim, all of Pella and and 2 daughters, Mrs. Matthew Kaldenberg of near Monroe and Mrs. Simon Vander Kamp of San Francisco, California. Mrs. Herman Van Zante of this city is only a niece.
