Notes about Bonnie Lee Ayars

Bonnie was the youngest of five surviving children of Agnes and George. She was an unexcpect baby late in life 21 years after older brother George and 8 years after older sister Betty. Bonnie had a happy and friendly dispositon. She enjoyed life's social aspect more than attending classes and was caught more than once skipping classes. She grew up first in Grandville then moved to Grand Rapids. When her parents moved to California in 1956 Bonnie was 18 years old. After her father died, Agnes and she continuted to live in VanNuys. Bonnie married Bob Smith in 1963. The family later thought therewas pressure on her to live a straight life, but Bob's drinking and other complications brought a quick divorce to the newlyweds. Her ashes were to be mixed with her partner Swanne and their dogs. Swanne's daughter Marta was last in possession of this to fulfill her request.
