Doetje married Klaas Pieters on 14 May 1797 at Oenkerk, Tietjerksteradeel. Klaas was from Oenkerk. He was born on 6 Oct 1771 and died on 28 Aug 1826 at the same place. In 1811 he took as family name "de Boer ". Doetje then took the name " de Vries ". In general people took the same name as their father or grandfather if he was still living. Doetje and Klaas had 3 children betwen 1779 and 1802, all at Oenkerk. Doetje also spelled as Doedtje.
