Garde 1e ban onder nr. 569 in garnizoen te Groningen; wordt met andere manschappen 18.09 en 12.10.1812 als vrijwilliger naar Parijs gezonden voor de Jonge Garde van Napoleon; Keizerlijke Garde 1e bat., 4e comp.; wordt eind 1814 vermist; zijn laatste brief was van 08.04.1813 uit Frankfort; komt niet voor in de akte van naamsaanname Bronnen: Tresoar nr. 7 op de lijst vermisten toegang 11 inv.nr. 6510 nr. 22; toegang 8/4031 nr. 57; 8/4032/10 en 8/4466 nr. 749; Raf Beetsterzwaag fol. 6v
