Deceased Name: Reed Walter Pease

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Reed Walter Pease, 80, died April 15, 2011.

 

He was born July 3, 1930, in Crow Agency, Mont., the son of George and Idaline (Eastman) Pease. He was a corporal in the Army Air Corps and worked in truck sales, at This Old House Antiques, and in machine parts sales. In 1974, he married Helen Andreason in Reno, Nev.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife on Aug. 10, 1997, and two sons, Dan and Bob Andreason.

 

Survivors include three sons, John Pease of Eugene, Guy Pease of Springfield, and Charles Andreason of Portland; a daughter, Karen Coulter of Eugene; three brothers, Bill Pease of Billings, Mont., George Pease of Hardin, Mont., and Carl Pease of Montana; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

 

Inurnment will take place at 1:30 p.m. April 28 at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Lane Memorial Funeral Home is in charge. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
