Daughter of Pierre and Marguerite Fleischmann Arrived with her parents in New York harbor Nov 12, 1845 on the ship 'Baltimore' sailing from Le Havre. They first settled in Roxbury, Dane County, Wisconsin Margaretha married Vitus Diedrich about 1857 and by 1860 they were living in Wakefield Township in Stearns County. Vitus and Margaretha had 6 known children: Margaretha b. 1859, Philipp (1860-1891), Maria b. 1861, Margaretha b. 1865, George (1868-1947), and Jacob b. 1869 Vitus died Oct 8 1870 Margaretha then married George Kraus/Krause Jan 7, 1871 and they moved to Benton County. She and George had 5 children: Anton, Anna, Peter, John and Joseph
