150-151/24122 Axel Leonard och hans tvillingbror Carl Selin föds hos de nygifta Carl Victor Carlsson och hans hustru Anna Lovisa Johansdotter.  Trots att Carl Victor inte är soldat utanbrukare är det vid soldattorp nummer 78 som gossarna kommer till världen. Brodern Carl Selin blir dock bara fyra månader gammal innan han går bort några dagar in i mars månad.Far, mor och sonen Axel Leonard flyttar snart till torpet Lillsjörödjan i Askersunds landsförsamling och snart väntar modern Anna Lovisa barn och ännu en gång föder hon två pojkar dock är det bara en av dom som överlever förlossningen och han döps till Carl Alvar.Brodern Oskar Emil föds i mitten på juni 1894 men glädjen blir avbruten av att treårige Carl Alvar avlider två dagar in på det nya året 1895.34 år gammal föder Anna Lovisa sitt sjätte och sista barn. Även denna gång är det en son som de döper till Carl Linus. 1900-talet är ett år gammalt när Carl Victor tar hustru och tre söner med sig och flyttar till Bäcks församling i Skaraborgs län. Där får han tjänst som skogsvaktare vid Borrud. Arton år gammal tar Axel Leonard sin första drängtjänst vid Eklunda, Ullervads församling men efter några år vänder han tillbaka till föräldrar och bröder vid Barrud.1910 avlider fadern Carl Victor. Trots att han bara är 52 år kan man inte hitta nån orsak antecknad till dödsfallet i kyrkoböckerna. 27 år fyllda gifter sig Axel Leonard med den två år äldre Elin Olivia Karlsson. De lever tillsammans i Kumla församling där Axel Leonard arbetar som maskinist. I mitten på juni föds dottern Tyra Axelina 1917 och knappa fyra år senare dottern Britta Olivia. 1954 avlider Axel Leonard i Hallsberg.
