Deceased Name: Myron Pease

Myron Pease, 80, of Billings, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at his homeafter a long battle with ALS.

 

Myron was born at Crow Agency, Montana, on Dec. 13, 1936, the son of Ashable Fredericks Pease and Celeste Hall Pease (Kakouie). He grew up in Lodge Grass and attended school there. Myron started working for the Bureau of Indian Affairs at Crow Agency, transferred to Fort Washakie, Wyoming, for the next ten years, then to Browning, for four years. He retired from the Billings Area Office in 1996 after 36 years of service.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Kent and his wife Tamaria Cobell, a grandson Dylan Pease, three brothers, Franklin, Harold and Hubert, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in Montana and North Dakota.

 

Survivors include his sons, Gregg, Todd (Jean) and Scott (Velma), grandchildren, Stephanie, Rebecca, Cody, Craig, Kaylee, and Emily, 11 great grandchildren, sisters Ramona Howe and Juanita Richards, numerous nieces and nephews, Montana families Pease, Chathmans, Schenderlines, and Coopers, and North Dakota families Hall, Danks, Fredericks and Baker, the decedents of great-great-grandmother She Kills.

 

Cremation has taken place and, at Myron's request, no services will be held. Condolences may be shared with the family at smithfuneralchapels.com.
