Notes about Mary Ellen Lynn

On the morning of February 21, 2002 Mary Ellen Lynn passed on, into the arms of her loved ones. Mary Ellen was born October 14, 1927 in Belfast N. Ireland to Thomas James and Mary Ellen Devlin Lynn. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Belfast, and later moved to Salt Lake City in 1961. She loved this beautiful land where she made many wonderful friends. She worked for Beehive Clothing for 30 years. The highlight of her life was visiting her sisters and brothers, who live in Salt Lake, Philadelphia, Ireland and England. She is survived by brother Patrick James Lynn of Birmingham, England; sister, (living) and husband Semus McCaffery of Philadelphia; brother, Daniel and wife Margaret Lynn of Belfast N. Ireland; sister, Catherine and husband Glen Bailey of Salt Lake City and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved sister Sarah Jane and husband James Cochrane and her brother Peter Lynn. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 25, 2002 at 11 a.m. in the Eagle Gate Second Ward Chapel, (135 A St.). Friends may call Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary (260 E. South Temple) or one hour prior to the funeral at the chapel. Interment will take place at the Hyrum Cemetery in Cache Valley.
