Obituary – Eugene E. Kiser Hayesville—Funeral services for Eugene E. Kiser, who died at the family home early Monday morning, were held from the Rigdon funeral chapel in Salem Wednesday. Interment was in Hayesville cemetery with Rev. Guy L. Drill officiating. Deceased died the day following his 77th birthday anniversary. He was born in Olympia, Wn., the son of Daniel and Louisa Kiser, April 23, 1862. His boyhood was spent in Indiana where the family resided. Thirty-five years of his life were spent following a railroad career. He and his family have been residents of this community for 27years. Mr. and Mrs. Kiser celebrated their golden wedding anniversary a few years ago. Survived by widow, Sarah Alice Kiser; daughter, Mrs. Harriett Christofferson of Hayesville, Mrs. Olive Hunsaker of Toledo; son, Carol Eugene Kiser of Waldport; brother, Jess Kiser of Indiana, and seven grandchildren.
