Olson, plus land acquired by the Olson families, has been the home of the Knute and Roy Olson families to the present time.

Knute and Rose Ertel Olson are both buried in Utica Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Wisconsin.

In 2003 Dawn Uglum was telling me that Knute Olson  had the largest hands she had ever seen and he made violins, which seems to be very delicate work.
