I 1761 ble Østre Somdalen i Ådal forlangt solgt på auksjon. Ved sorenskriver Niels Michelsen ble auksjonsskjøte utstedt til Narve Ellingsen Glesne (1709-1776). Kjøpesummen var 638 rdl., og skjøtet ble tinglyst 6/7-1761. Narve var 1740 blitt gift med enken etter Ole Fingarsen Glesne pÃ¥ RÃ¥en i Krødsherad, hun het Mari Bjørnsdatter (1709-1773). Hun var opprinnelig fra Gulsvik og hun var søster til Marit Bjørnsdatter Strande, som var gardkone pÃ¥ Østre Somdalen 30 Ã¥r tidligere. Narve Ellingsen og hans etterkommere var eiere av Østre Somdalen de neste 110 Ã¥r. Narve Ellingsen selv var eier og bodde der fra 1761 til han døde i 1776.
