Det siste som höres om </p><p>ham i Danmark, er at han sammen med sine sösken etter farens död </p><p>oppholdt seg vinteren 1758 -59 på Edelgave. Han utarbeidet denne </p><p>tiden Jordeboken, som skulle benyttes ved den forestående </p><p>auksjonen. Senere la han hele sin virksomhet til Norge. 9. mars</p><p>1759 ble han missionarius ordinatus til Porsanger i Finnmark. 1761</p><p>ble han sogneprest i Måsö prestegjeld i Vestfinnmark. 1767 kom han</p><p>til Vadsö og Nesseby, samt Prost i Östfinnmark. 1771 var han prest</p><p>ved Hospitalet i Trondheim, hvorfra han 1773 forflyttes til </p><p>Inderöy, hvor han ble til sin död.
