Gravlagt: Fredag 22.12.2006, Trones kirke,Nord Trøndelag, Norway. Far: Roland Persson Ankervatn.31.1.1870, Blåsjøn S. -5.5.1959. gift 7.8.1901 i Røyrvik. Mor: Marianne Jonasmo Røyrvik. 24.4.1881.-29.11.1961. Søsken: Kristina Rolandsdatter 1901. Alexander Rolandsen 1903. Mathilde Rolandsdtr Aasnes 1905. 15.9.1913 ble Bror født i Slotvik, Nyvikmoen?, Røyrvik Slotvik ligger på Østre side av Limingen ved vika av samme navn. Eiendommen er utskilt fra B.nr.3 Nyvikmoen. De første som ryddet og bodde i Slotvika var Roland Persson og kona Marianne, datter til Ole Arntsen på Nyvikmoen. De var ikke eiere ogvar der bare en kort periode. Eiendommen ble solgt til Jonas Persson Sellin i 1913. Bror kom til Namsskogan sammen med foreldrene og søsteren Mathilde, Kristina og Alexander ble igjen i Røyrvik. Senere rundt 1922 slo de seg ned som bureisere og ryddet plassen Aasnes. Han ble konfirmert etter at de kom til Namsskogan. Avtjente verneplikten i Narvik, som kokk. 22.5.1937, gifter han seg med Ida Agnes Mellingen, f. 9.8.1908, Mellingsmoen. I 1939 ble det nåværende huset satt opp på Åsnes. Han var grensevakt under finlands krigen, Da krigen brøt ut i Norge i 1940 var Bror i Narvik. (IR13) De måtte rømme hjem til Namsskogan på ski, matte gå langs fjellene. Torleif Mellingen var med på den turen + en til. Under krigen tok tyskerne gammelhuset og deler av nystua. Tyskerne haddefangeleir på gården i huset nedenfor fjøsen. (Russiske fanger) Bror var antagelig grenselos under krigen. Fra boka "krigens dagbok 1940-1945" av Ola Hjulstad. Russerfangene. Eg kan ikke seie sikkert når dei russiske krigsfangane kom, men det måtte vera på haustparten i 1944, og da var vist alle polakkane borte. Korleis det var ut gjennom bygda veit eg ikke, men oppe i Furylykretsen vardet tre leirar. ( på Aasnes, Folkets hus ved Mellingsmo og ved Bjørnstad) Hos Bror Aasnes hadde tyskerane lagt beslag på gammelstua, og der bodde fangane. Vaktene bodde i den nye stuebygninga derBror og familien og var. Dette var da ein svært liten leir. Fangane dreiv og hogg tømmer i lia oppom. Dei gikk og vassa i djupsnoen og drog tømmer og bjørk som dei tyske Finlands-troppene hadde til ved da dei kom. Oppe i smalåsen vart og bygd store staller for dei som kom med hestar.... ungane for opp til russerane og bytta til seg leiker mot noen brødskiver. Fangane laga ringar av toøringar og dessuten fuglar av tre med sponvengar. Dei hadde som ein liten butikk med slike ting. Utpå nyåret ein gong kom det to tyskerar og vekte meg tidlig ein morgon. Dei for og leita etter ein rømt fange, men hos meg var han jo ikke. Seinare fikk eg høre av Ingebrigt Skråmo at da han kom ned til brua over Mellingselva om morgonen, var det noen tyskerar som dreiv og skaut oppe i berga overforog sa: Russ, russ. Så kom det ein fange ned på vegen. Skråmo sa at det såg ut som han ba for livet, men dei skaut han der. Trygve Tysland kjøyrde i skogen oppe ved mellingsvatnet. Da han kom,vart han sett til å kjøre liket av russeren ned til Aasnes, der lå han på gårdsplassen til å begynne med. Alf Viken. Han arbeidet som småbruker/ skogsarbeider. De får Barna: 15.7.1937. BjørgAasnes 30.10.1938. Torolf Aasnes. 2.5.1940. Roald Aasnes. Døde 23.5.1960. 21.6.1942. Sigfrid Marie Aasnes. 26.1.1944. Anne Lise Aasnes. 5.5.1947. Irene Aasnes. 21.5.1949. Harald Aasnes. 21.1.1956 går kona Ida bort, 48 år gammel. Hun hadde antagelig vert syk et par år før hun døde av brystkreft. Bror fikk ansvaret for 6 barn i alderen 6-18 år. 5.5.1959 går hans far Roland bort, 89 år gammel. 23.5.1960 døde deres sønn Roald i Bodø, under militærtjeneste, 20 år gammel. 29.11.1961 går mora Marianne bort, 79 år gammel. 15.12.2006, går Bror bort, 93 år gammel.
