Notes about Arie Groen
Im Jahr 1828 hat er Grietje Klasen Jonges, Witwe von Anthonie Muys, geschwängert. Als Grietje diese Schwangerschaft feststellte, probierte sie mit Kindern zu flüchten,(desertierte) doch durch die
Verfolgung der Polizei wurde sie in die Kolonie zurücktransportiert. Zur Strafe kam sie am 25.02.1826 in die Strafkolonie Ommenschans wo auch ihr Sohn Arie am 19.10.1826 geboren ist.

28 bemerkt die Kolonistentochter Ariana Johanna de Bruijn das sie von Arie Groen schwanger ist. Sie ist die Tochter von Johannes Hermannus de Bruijn, der 1824 in Wilhelminaoord angekommen ist. Er plan
te die Hochzeit seiner Tochter mit Arie Groen, und kaufte einiges Land das die Eheleute beziehen sollten.
Doch Arie ist zu der Zeit im Millitärdienst und kann nicht heiraten. Deshalb kommt auc
h Ariana am 02.02.1828 in die Strafkolonie Ommenschans und gebar am 23.07.1828 einen Sohn den sie auch Arie nannte.
Da Arie 1825 schon die Kolonie verlassen durfte, fiel er nicht mehr unter das
Hausrecht und entging einer Strafe.
