Benjamin is levenloos ter wereld gekomen en begraven, zonder de ouders in kennis te stellen van waar en hoe, dus ook zonder gedoopt te zijn. Er staat nu, sinds 18 juni 2008, een monument voor deze kinderen, op het kerkhof "Achter De Bergen"in Roermond, mede dankzij Betsy Kouters (312).
