Willem van Bronckhorst, graaf van Salland, Heer van Bronckhorst, getuige nevens zijn broer en bezweert met Graaf Otto de Privilegien van Zutphen in 1190. Borge van Graaf Otto van Gelre aan Brabant in 1196. Getuige van Bisschop Dirk van Utrecht in 1200. Getuige van 't verdrag tussen Brabant en Gelre in 1203. Getuige van Graaf Gerhard van Gelre bij de Novalia van Lochem in 1207. Getuige van een verdrag tussen Utrecht en Holland; staat na de Graven, maar voor Hendrik de Monte in 1225. Hij moet kort, daarna gestorven zijn. Zijn vrouw is onbekend, maar heeft nagelaten Gysbert en Willem van Bronckhorst Proost, zonder vermelding van Kerk, die met zijn broer zegelt in 1230.
