    Dr. Edwin W. Prentice, passed away June 13, 2008, at his home in Reno, NV. He was born in Flint, MI, on January 10, 1917. He graduated from Marquette University Medical School and completed his internship at Wayne County Hospital in Detroit, MI. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII as a captain in the medical corps. He joined a family practice in Muskegon. He relocated his medical practice to Reno, NV in 1965, retired from medicine in 1992 and remained in the area until his death.

    Survivors include his wife, Sonja; two sons, Ed and Paul (Kris); three daughters, Patricia, Mary (Tom) Berwald, Jean (Dave) Keim; one daughter-in-law, Linda Prentice; one stepdaughter, Tia (John) Speirs; 18 grandchildren; one brother, Fritz (Monobelle); one sister, Phyllis Raut.

    Cremation arrangements entrusted to Walton Funeral Home, Reno, NV.
  • He is cremated on June 18, 2008 in Walton Funeral Home, Reno, New York, Verenigde Staten.
