Immigrated to the US with the five Weust Brothers and Sisters and his cousin Henry Stroot on the Werkendam on August 26,1892. Married Susanna Weust Kleisen August 1893. Father to Gert Kleisen, Emma Kleisen Tucker and Frank Kleisen, all buried in Calvary Cemetery. Worked as a moulder at the Terre Haute Car Company.
