Wordt vermeld in notarieel archief Maassluis 1662 (oud 18 jr), ingeschreven als student rechten aan de Universiteit van Leiden 25-4-1664 ("Adrianus Breur, Slusanus, 20"), promoveert op 10-7-1665 in de rechten aan de Universiteit van Leiden op een dissertatie getiteld Illustres quaedam quaestiones ex iure depromptae ("Adrianus Breur, Zluys. Batav."), vermeld als mr. Adrijaen Breur (1666), is als Adriaen Breur, advocaat over de Wagenbrugge te Den Haag, die ƒ 30,--,-- belasting betaalt voor een getaxeerd vermogen van ƒ 6000,-- (1674), wordt door Simon Breur, kleinzoon van Sijmon Wilemsz Breur, in 1749 zijn oudoom genoemd, vormde samen met Cornelis de la Porte de vaste kern van een aantal juridische adviseurs van Maria Louise van Hessen-Kassel (1688-1765), echtgenote van Johan Willem Friso en treedt als zodanig op tot zijn dood in 1721, landsadvocaat bij de Staten-Generaal (1716-1721).


Gehuwd in Maassluis op 01-10-1664 met Maria Kruijck (Cruijck).
