De persoonskaart Burgerlijke Stand Amsterdam vermeldt dat Abraham Benjamin op 08-02-1945 in Mauthausen (O) om het leven is gekomen/gebracht. Andere bronnen noemen Auschwitz (PL) als plaats van overlijden. Mogelijk is Abraham Benjamin vanuit Auschwitz naar Mauthausen getransporteerd. De interneringskaart wijst daar niet op. De publicatie van overlijden in de Staatscourant van 23-02-1950 geeft Mauthausen als plaats van overlijden aan.
