Moeder Rika zette na het overlijden van vader Mozes Levi in 1929 de winkel in fotografische artikelen aan de Grote Houtstraat 3a te Haarlem voort. De winkel was in 1902 opgericht.

Moeder hertrouwde met Herman Calff in 1936. De winkel werd door de Duitsers in beslag genomen en uiteindelijk opgeheven. Na de oorlog is de winkel weer voortgezet op het zelfde adres door Emil.

In 1971 verplaatste Emil de winkel naar Amsterdam en kreeg een nieuwe naam: Capilux (bron Noord-hollands Archief Kamer van Koophandel handelsregister dossier inv 62, dossier 1101).
