M. inCarrollton Memorial Hospital. Mr. Standley, a prominent farmerin coloma, belonged to the Coloma baptist Church and to theBogard Masonic Lodge.He was born Dec. 20, 1885 near Tina, the son of George W.Standley and Emma(Long) Standley. On Aug 5, 1917, he marriedRowena Trussell, who survives.Other survivors are two daughters, Miss Evelyn Standley of thehome and Mrs. Mary Lou Stillwell of Dawn, and a grandson,Standley Lee Stillwell.He was preceeded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Rose McCall andMattie Standley; one step-sister, Mrs. Nannie Dorsey; and threestep-brothers, Earl Standley, Wyckliff Standley and Tom Bowman.Funeral services will be held at the Coloma Baptist ChurchThursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in ColomaCemetery. The Bogard Masonic Lodge 101 will have charge ofgraveside services."
