George Clayton Turner passed away February 8, 1993, of heart failure.
Born October 29, 1918 to Benjamin Godfrey Turner, Jr. and Anna White. Married Norma Jones, March 1, 1946 in the LDS Temple. Recently retired in November, 1992, from 41 years of being a Chiropractor. Served many church positions in the LDS Church. Loved the outdoors and to travel with his sweetheart, family and friends. Served in World War II under the 145th Field Artillery Battalion, U.S. Army. Received much recognition for combat areas served.Survived by his wife, Norma; son, Clayton Dudley; daughter, Suzann and husband, Mark Snyder; three grandchildren, Christopher, James and Matthew; also by two brothers, Ulmer and Fern, Rolldo and Mary; two sisters, Hilma Glad and Gepkie and Keith Woolsey; sister-in-law, Elva Turner and Arda Turner. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, John and Sherman Turner.
Dad, we will miss you so much.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 13, 1993, 11 a.m., at the Monument Park 5th Ward, 1930 South 2100 East. Friends may call Friday, February 12, 1993, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
