ION. -In sad and loving memiory of our
dearly beloved son and brother. Private
Gordon William Ion, who died of wounds
in France, April 15, 1917.
Just two years ago to-day.
Since our brave lad in khaki fell.
Somewhere in France our hero is sleeping,
The one we loved so dear.
Somewhere in France he is resting,
With all the brave heroes that fell.
For duty and his country's call,
He went forth true and brave,
Uipon the battlefield to fall
And fill a soldier's grave.

Sisters and brothers, 3 Keane-street,
Launceston.
ION.-In loving memory of our dear bro
ther, Private Gordon Ion, who died of
wounds received at Lagnicourt, France,
on the 15th April, 1917.
