Vernona (Nona) Bush Parsons of Roy, Utah died 15 Feb 2017 at Ogden Regional Medical center in Ogden, Utah. She was born in Smithfield, Utah, a daughter of Charles Vernon and Venetta Rae Weeks Bush. She graduated from North Cache High School in 1946.

She met the love of her life S. William (Bill) Parsons in 1947. They were married 2 Sep 1948.Their marriage was later sealed 17 Nov 1950 in the Logan LDS Temple.

She worked at S.H. Kress, L.R. Samuels. Defense Depot Ogden, Hill Air Force Base, Empire Printing and Bonneville High School. While working at L.R. Samuels she Modeled for them. While working at Hill Air Force Base she was chosen as runner up in the Miss Hill Field competition.

She held many positions in the LDS Church which included Sunday School Teacher, Mutual President and Relief Society Secretary. Her calling in Genealogy was to extract names from micro film.

She enjoyed the years that her and Bill went to St. George, Utah, for 2 or 3 months during the winter. She liked camping, golf and bowling but most of all spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; her sisters and a grandson.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
