Poels, Henriette Laure age 90, died Saturday July 29, 2006. She gave her life to taking care of others. Henriette was born in Venray Holland. She was a nurse during WWII. In 1955 she moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she was a nurse at St. Francis General Hospital for 32 years. She retired and moved to Bloomington, MN in 1982. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Boelen of Chicago, IL and Lau Poulisse of Holland; daughters, Mia (Brian) Anderson of Bloomington, MN and Pauline Poels of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren Jessica & Zachary Ferree; great-grandchildren, Molly and Clayton; nieces and nephews here and abroad; many friends from TOPS and Bloomington Rec Walkers; and countless others. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, 11 AM at The Church of the Nativity of Mary, 9900 Lyndale Ave S., with visitation one hour prior at church. Interment Bloomington Cemetery.
