MURRAY, Peter - November 2, 1945 -
December 5, 2008
Dad, a privilege to nurse you at home until your last breath. Your wish granted, special moments together during this time embedded in my mind. Just mine, no one can take from me. I will have a good life just for you, but you will be with me every step of the way, giving me a lecture or telling me `that's just the way it is'. All our promises to you fulfilled, we have time to grieve, but not for long as we know you are looking down giving us that look. Boy, won't we miss that look. Looking at my phone seeing your number a lump gets in my throat. Deciding not to delete it but keeping it so I can still mentally call you and tell you all the funny and naughty things Josh and Hayden get up to and hearing you chuckle and say `they do have the Murray in them'. No more spoken, point taken. I'll miss you Dad. I will love you always.
- Melinda, Trevor, Josh and Hayden xxxx
