The marriage of Mr. Frederick George Hadley.
second son of Mr. Chas.' F. Hadley, of South Melbourne,
and Miss Annie Emma Lumbert, only
daughter of Mr. Frank W. Lumbert, of Sydney, and
niece of Mrs. J. 0. Storey, of Albert Park, was.
celebrated on Wednesday, 22nd December, 1909, at
St. Luke's Church by the Rev. D. Ross Hewton.
The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr. J. 0.
Storey. Her frock was of white silk, trimmed with
silk lace and Valenciennes yoke ; wreath of orange
blossom, and lovely tulle veil : she carried a shower
bouquet of water lilies and heath, and wore the
bridegroom's gift, a. gold bangle. The bridesmaids
in attendance were Miss Eva I-ewis and Miss Mary
Storey (cousins of the bride), b-oth of whom were
daintily frocked in white French muBlin, inlet with
fancy embroidery, and carried bouquets of red car-
nations tied with red streamers, and wore the/bridegroom's
gifts, gold brooches. The bridegroom was
supported by Mr. W. S. Lewis as best man and
Mr. F. W. Hardham as groomsman.
After . the ceremony a reception and wedding
breakfast was held in the New Dispensary Hall,
Park-street, South Melbourne, followed in the evening
by a dance. Subsequently Mr. and Mrs. F.
G. Hadley left for their honeymoon to Kingslake
The bride wore a smart dress of pale heliotrope,
set with cream net and silk heliotrope insertion,
and fancy buttons: hat to match. Many -handsome
presents were received, including several cheques.
